Blueberry - Vaccinium corymbosum

Blueberries are indigenous to Europe, North America and parts of Europe. In Spring the pinkish white waxy flowers are followed by blue black fruits with a whitish bloom, which vary in size depending on the variety. As well as the flowers and fruit, the plant has great value as an eye-catching shrub in Autumn, with the firery leaves giving a welcome show of colour late into the season. The fruits are widely used in desserts and juices.
