Lungwort - Pulmonaria officinalis

Lungwort is one of the first plants to bloom in early Spring, when tubular pink and blue flowers appear on hairy stems. A little later the beautifully spotted bristly leaves develop, with a rough surface and variable markings. There are cultivated forms with white, pink and blue flowers which are found in many gardens.
